Mental Health Referral & Access Team
EMPHN’s Mental Health Referral & Access Team helps health professionals, consumers, and carers to understand, navigate, and access mental health, alcohol and drug, and suicide prevention services in our region. The Team is the entry point for assisting people to identify, and then get, the service that best suits their needs.
The Referral and Access team’s mental health clinicians are at the forefront of EMPHN’s system integration work, as they assist health professionals, consumers and carers, and other community members to navigate and access appropriate services throughout the region.
An upcoming Referral and Access initiative will involve a new way of finding and navigating mental and physical health services in our region. The development of a ‘navigation platform’ on EMPHN’s website will assist people to easily find and link with the services they need.
