The Primary Integrated Care Supports (PICS) service

The Primary Integrated Care Supports (PICS) service provides clinical & recovery oriented mental health services to people living with a severe & persistent mental illness in the Central & Eastern Sydney Primary Health Network (CESPHN) region.  Physical health is a key performance indicator for its contractual requirements to the CESPHN. A key focus of PICS is providing individually tailored self-management physical and mental health plans to their clients. Promotion, prevention and intervention of physical health is an aim for PICS clients and these clients have the opportunity to engage in physical health programs such as walking groups, West Tigers Wellbeing Program, ccCHIP clinic – Collaborative Centre for Cardiometabolic Health in Psychosis and healthy lifestyle programs which focus on living a healthy lifestyle through lifestyle behaviour changes such as diet and exercise.
