Held on the 25th-27th July in Sydney, this 3-day event is FREE for all attendees thanks to our generous sponsors.
This is the biggest event in Australia that brings together consumers, carers, clinicians, policy makers, service providers and researchers who are working in the area of improving the physical health outcomes of people living with mental illness.
This year’s theme Becoming an Equally Well Country: Working collaboratively to reduce health inequality explores a wide range of themes with speakers from across Australia and internationally sharing their latest research and insights.
Hear from 45 speakers across two and a half days. Visit our program page to see the full program and design your own experience.
The Hon. Emma McBride, Assistant Minster for Mental Health and Suicide Prevention and Assistant Minister for Rural and Regional Health will deliver the opening address at the Equally Well 2023 Symposium to kick off a two-and-a-half-day program. Speaking about the progress and the challenges of making policy and system wide changes to improve the physical health outcomes of people living with mental illness, Minister McBride’s address will headline an opening session that will feature a presentation from Equally Well Co-Chairs John Allan and Dave Peters who will detail the progress of the first six years of the Equally Well movement in Australia.
